I love Jon Stewart and the Daily Show. This interview fits in nicely with the topic that we are currently discussing in class. I can relate to a lot of what was said in this interview as both of my parents have at some point been educators.
I like how she says how powerful people with their foundations such as the Gates Foundation are taking us in the wrong place and that we need to focus on Pre-K involvement, when actually the Gates Foundation made a program called Ready By 5 and support it fully.
Jon is a funny guy. This show is funny but at the same time very informative. I also can relate to what was said in the interview because my family is full of teachers.
This was extremely interesting. If it wasnt for running start, I would be moving to Finland because standardized testing is the thing I hate the most about High School. I also love how she says she would like to see a governor live on $40,000. ME flippin too!!!
