  3. I haven't had to use a cover letter since the last time I did one for you class. I think, that was a little over a year ago. The Purdue Online Writing Lab (O.W.L.) really helped me format my cover letter.

  7. I haven't done a cover letter in many, many years. Thank you for posting these links on the site. In my previous english classes, I used OWL as a reference when I couldn't remember what to use. Thanks again. (AR)

  8. I have never used a cover letter before but they seem like they could be an extremely useful tool when done right (quick and to the point) but i think a cover letter can be a disservice if it's too long.

  10. I dont even remember the last time I did one of these, or if I even have. But if I did, it certainly wasn't as exact as these. I for one like the example in the book best, but these are good as well.

  13. These remind me of that keyboarding class I took last quarter. I think a little piece of my soul died in that class. Oh well, I suppose one more time won't kill me...

  20. Good deal, sometimes in these letters i can get winded, i think i will just stay focused on main points. Also, i think its a good idea, makes me think of where i could have done better over the class.
