Wow. This quarter is almost over. It has gone by so fast! I have learned more about MLA, and different techniques about writing. I almost don't want it to end.

I'm really up in the air about the revision thing. i really don't think it will make that big of a difference... i knew i shouldn;t have told my mom about it cause now i actually have to do it. i guess i have all of these posts to fall back on if it doesn't work out.

Hey all. It's still 3rd and goal, all the starters are down and its up to each one of us individually to work as a team. As far as the revision, I'm gonna let it slide. My overall points are fairly good at this time. I have put some effort into the last two assignments. Group # 4, ya better pad up, Thursday is going rough. Were all carring paper and pens, taking names as we kick behind.Oh yea, it's on............

Thanks for the football lingo,Mr. Mahaney!! I had to have my husband decode the 3rd and goal part for me. Group #4 is going to kick your butt :)

I am planning on doing a revision. I should do one on the 2nd essay because that is the one that needs the most improvement, but I might opt for the easy way out and do one of the latter essays. Either way I will probably end up doing it at the last minute.

Yeah I know, the class is almost over. It did go by fast and now I just have to worry about my revision, cover letter, and finally the portfolio revision.

I am glad this quarter is almost over. I think though there is so much more we could learn from Mr. Peters if we had more time with him. I am really learning about my own writing with him. All his comments are really helpful, and with tough skin you can learn so much.

Yeah, I have learned so much from Mr. Peters myself. There is much more I could learn more from being with him longer too. There is so much more I want to know about my writing! How to improve style extra… I have bugged him a lot this quarter with office calls, but they have been beneficial to my writing.

Todays peer editing was probably the best I ever had. We should of stuck at our table through the quarter. We're all used to eachother now so no one was "stepping on eggs shells" they told me what I needed to fix where I dropped off and what didn't relate, it was great!

Peer editing today helped me. I also enjoyed reading others papers because the ones I read were excellent and I read the same peoples papers in teh beginning of this quarter and they have improved on their writing and its interesting to see that and I hope that mine has improved also. i would like to think I am improving every day in my writing and that there will always be room for me to improve on.
Side note; there has been a lot of smack talk to my group 4.... hopefully you can back up your words..lol...
Hopefully it won't get to rough tomorrow in the MLA deathmatch..cause it was pretty intense the first day.... some are going to cry...and others are going to celebrate, then there's the steak knifes.

YO, Amanda.............You used my name. Now I'll have to go into the wittness protection program, change my name, grow hair again, move to some small town where even the sheep are scared. Probably in Montana. Hey, didnt Mr "P" go to school in Montana. Opps, I was just kidding, not all of the sheep are scared in Montana. ROTFLMAO

Man i think that iam going to pass this class,it was hard but i could not give up that easy. i like writing but sometimes i get into trouble because i tend to make no sense at the end of a paper... but that this class i can see it and will avoid it in the future.

I cant believe that today is our last day. I learned so much about writing, MLA, fellow students and about the world in general. I really enjoyed the three books we read and all have made an impact on me. Great choices of books.
Thanks again everyone!!

I think that it's great to know that I can have people look at my paper and correct it to the best of their knowledge. It really helps when it's time to finalize.

Now that i talked through my paper with Mr. Peters, he made some really helpful comments about my paper, and it made me see where i could improve it. I think it will be good for me to revise it, and it was really easy to do, too!
