These videos are funny and make me laugh but then make me feel bad for lauging at them.

I completely understand. I feel bad for them yet I think it is a good reminder to not coast but keep keeping on till our tests are completed.

Well I ran out of March links to comment on so I guess I'll start over. I can't even ride a bike so I still give the guy that fell props. haha

Ugh I wish someone would teach me how to snowboard. Do you know how bad that Lindsay chick must feel for SCREWING America out of it's gold metal? Sucky deal

Oh and the touchdown video. I would have kicked that guy off the team haha.

These videos are a really great reminder to say it is important not to think the "race" is over yet. There may only be one day left, but it is still one day.

I agree with Amy. Right now I really don't want to do any homework but I know I have to in order to achieve my goals. If I don't work hard now, I will regret it later.

I think these videos are pretty funny and they do really make a good point. Just because you think you've won there's still something that can get in your way and stop you from achieving your goals.

these video's are probably the reasons i never played sports unless i was forced (p.e.). i dont like getting hurt...and i think all of those accidents hurt! if not physically, then in some other way. and yeah, trying to stay focused on getting this cover letter written when i would much rather read this new book i have!! :)

Ha I remember seeing this fall quarter and thinking it's so true. I know I tend to start celebrating a little too early. Like I happen to just now be starting my cover letter for example! Kick me off Blogger!

I agree, I cant give up and lose the race now. Its not jsut one more day for me. I have two finals next week, including one on wednesday. So i have a few day before i can get excited.

These videos are funny. Has anyone seen the one where the guy is running a marathon and his legs gave out before he won it. That one was a good one to but sad.

It just goes to show that people who like to show off don't always get the gold.

I think Yogi Berra said it best: "It's not over 'til it's over." Which proves to be a bit of advice these athletes should have heeded.

That would suck to lose the gold metal for grabbing the board, but when peter paused the video, she fell down because her board wasn't parallel with the ground. It's not over till the fat lady sings, I've got till Tuesday at noon.

Okay, all MLA death match 2K9 smack talk aside, this is why sportsmanship is so important. Acting the fool at the end of a race deserves a lose in my opinion.

Mr. Peters had us watch these last year as a threat to work hard till the end. Love the videos, but it is still so easy to slack off at the end. I still need to write my cover letter and its already past midnight!

With you on that one Brandon! I thought the AW Essay was due Friday so i didnt bring it on its real due date, Thursday! All i turned in was a written on rough draft with no works cited or even in text citations! Man i felt the whole quarter and my grade fly by!!!

How embarrassing I don't know if I could live with myself if I were a professional and something like this happened it's bad enough that it happened in front of my peers let alone caught on video and in some cases thousands of fans live. Yikes!

These are so true, just when you think you’re a shoe in. Bam! Right in the kisser! I love this class so much, I am kinda sad.

this video shows that you should not celebrate before you havent won because you never know what could happen in the last second. It was really funny thou.

i know the feeling. you think you are almost there then all of a sudden you crash and burn, and then you are in a daze over the break.
