I think thae it is unfair. Hes probably made hundreds of predictions but lets poke fun at these five, and if thats the best they could do then hes been right more often than not.

Interesting....let's look at this critically. A writer for Vanity Fair criticizing a writer/author from the New York Times. Hmmm which publication do you take more seriously?

On the other hand, Friedman sure does like to play prophet. In addition,it's also important not to put all your faith in one source.

Agreed. As Albert Einstein said, “The only people who don’t make mistakes, are the people who don’t try new things.” I guess he could just keep quiet to avoid bad predictions, but he would be robbing the rest of us of his great ideas. A few thorns with my roses suit me just fine thank you.

I think its funny that the person who wrote this article criticizing Friedman has also written a book called "Flock of Dodos." Interesting. And I think it is people like Frienman that gets the rest of us thinking and possibly intrigued in any of the political topics were constantly surrounded with. So who cares if he has made a few slip ups. At least we're all a little more educated in some way or another.

Yeah that picture is pretty funny. I wonder if the person who wrote on that picture can be sued because he or she published it on the internet? Food for thought.

haha that picture is so mean. Why am I laughing. Who cares if his predictions were off. Look at all the other stuff he has been right about.

I agree with Sam the guy that wrote that article needs to calm down. I don't see him making predictions about what is going to happen in the future, so he doesn't really have any room to talk.

Good quote Matt. If all of the great inventors gave up the first time they weren't successful where would we be? Think about it...
