LOL, got Mr. Peter's point with this one! This clip always drives me crazy every time I see it. Was anyone watching this when it happened besides me? I guess a paper can be the same way.

I think I saw it when it happened, and yes a paper can be this way. I have found myself thinking, "why should I work so hard when I don't really have to?" However, I don't want to not work on it and then something bad happens.

Ok so i swear to god i've seen this before. But try and just imagine the disappointment she must have felt once she saw that person cross the finish line in front of her. Bet she was taking crap from paparazzo’s like mad!!!

Don't go spreading the mustard and mayo until ya got the dog in hand. "Silly girl tricks are for pro's." I'm sure she feels pretty crappy, not only for her self, but she was representing the United States. Well I guess she isnt the most embarrassing representation of the U.S. How will we [The United States] ever live down the father & son combination of the Bush's. Make's my stomach turn, stand back I'm gonna hurl.........

This just shows not to show off just because you're ahead. Even after all that training, endorsements, and effort spent she lost it all, for a couple of ooos and ahhhs.

That really does make the point strong! The quarter isn’t over, and we need to keep plugging away, doing our best. As Yogi Berra said “It ain't over ‘til it's over." Keep going guys!

This i beleive is a symbolization of the victory we (group2) are about to achieve over the malicous mikey! He has a commanding lead, but he is going to "hot dog it", and hand the gold (cadillac) over to us.

I once again remember this from last quarter. I had been feeling like putting everything off, but once again this clip made me not want to finish weak but push to the end!

I agree with Anna....this video drives me NUTS. She had the gold and just because she showed off a bit she lost it... our group is in the lead for MLA death match...and hopefully no one in our group tries to show off in the final match cause I don't want to loose the gold like Lindsey and leon.
Don't assume you have the prize until it is in your possesion....cause if you do someone can just run up behind you and rip it away.

Dude, that sucked!I couldnt imagine what Lindsay felt like at that moment. You know she played it off so well, she still finished the race! She got right back up and it looked pretty smoothe. I mena she made it to the end, unlike that Leon Lett guy!

The papers we are editing for monday are replacing the previous paper grades if they are better, right? I just want to make sure because I've got a lot of studying I have to do for other classes and it would be really helpful for time if I didn't redo a paper.

Hey, Brian, the answer is yes. The only way it will benifit your grade is if it's better than the original. It wont drop your grade at all if it's not improved. In my opinion, if your happy with your grade is now, study for the other classes and pass on the revision. I know Mr "P" would be happy to read 50-100 papers in the next few days, but we all don't get what we want.

Hey i thought that this was funny... she had it all but at the end she lost it...learned from your mistakes so you wont do them again.

I guess I was the same way. I now know that I should have been paying more attention to my paper during the week instead of writing it up last minute.

This is so funny to me. I feel bad for her though. But yeah, the trimester isnt over yet, even though today is the last day of class!
