Personally, I feel it's quite sad how much time I, as well as others, spend on the computer not doing homework. There are probably more people with myspace/twitter/ and facebook accounts than there are people who have read an entire book in their lifetime.

Its the truth. We spend so much time online doing pretty much nothing.
We think about our homework Later and check emails, craigslist, myspace, facebook etc first...
Its reality in this generation.

I thought this video was very eye-opening. It is shocking (and sad) how much time is stolen from our lives by our modern technology. In my opinion, it can hinder us as much as it helps us!

You know though, I think we just need to find a balance. i like facebook because i can see what's up with my family and friends and not have to find out 3 weeks later. I think in moderation (not being on for several hours straight) facebook is an awesome tool, but also a way for us to realize just how connected the world is going to be. You can scan hundreds of status updates in a few minutes depending on your reading speed, and then you can go read a novel later as well.

I liked this video, every statement on the video seemed to be very true. However since I started school this quarter I haven't had time to go on my myspace as much as I use to.
