I read the article but i am still very confused... It said one in four people work for the federal government and so they are trying to get laborers to get higher wages which the federal gov. is not allowing or what? Super confused!
Lowering the wages for the higher postitioned workers, since they probably don't do as much as the ordinary workers. Therefore, it would provide more money for workers like Alyssa D. stated and also open up more jobs.

Why not fire some people at the top, or cut their wages, wouldn't that give us more money for our workers?

If passed, this should help bring more people up into the middle class, but the problem is that this could really devastate small businesses....
