You know, I went to Japan last summer and i thought they did ahve street numbers...is this theoretical, because i know that the most famous shrine in Tokyo is on Shinjuku Avenue...

This guy is funny. He makes complete sense though. The fact that we have street names and our houses go in number order is something i reconize. If blocks had names and then the houses where numbered by order they were built i wouldnt know whats what. what if all the houses looke new but ones 5 years old. I would get confused.

I think the same, how odd would it be to have to remember which houses were built first and the numeration of them. So stressful!!!!! No thanks i like the street name system :)

I like this idea that the "the opposite is also true." Its also kinda interesting how some of the doctors are payed every month your healthy and if you get sick they dont get payed. Shouldnt this be how it is over here? And also the whole houses being numbered in the order they were built? I would get lost.
