This was a really interesting video it was also very well made. It certainly raises a lot of questions about ambition and technology.
This video was really cool. I really like how it was put together. Whoever came up with the idea was a very clever person. My favorite part was the writing on the walls and chairs.
my main main J Y brings up a good point.. it brings alot of questions to the fore front like.. what are we realy teaching kids?
very well done video. im not sure on exactly what point they were trying to prove, I realize that they were stressing the importance of school, but questioning the relavance, they were also showing how hard schooling is now days.
I liked the video. I don't know about everyone else, but I know it rang very true for me. I spend way too much time blogging, on the phone and Facebook. I don't think it's something that I'd stop doing though, because i like keeping in touch with friends and family, but I definitely would never do those things during class.
I play a lot of games online, so this is really true for me. I actually think that online games help you become a better writer, since you have to type everything. If you want people to understand what you're saying, you have to make sense when you type. It also helps with hand/eye coordination. Yay for lame excuses!
That video was really cool. I liked they way that everything added up to more than 24 hours. College students have a lot of different stuff on their plate all at once and sometimes it's really hard to juggle everything.
i really liked this one. it did raise a lot of questions and the things they showed really are true. i wish more people could see this
All that was written is true for me, but they forgot something very important I WORK TOOOOO! I am always saying that there are never enough hours in a day, well I knew I was right! I have an average day of like 31 hours. Technology is the factor that we base our entire day around, our lives. We must better improve our technology, to improve the amount of time spent on technology to instead spend that time with people. Idk about you, but I actually miss the sound of people's voices, I am an avide user of texting and typing, I have started to use the dial tone again....
I think that in the future every class that can be taught through online teaching will be done and it is great for those that work or even have a kid. They work when they can or want, they can work on homework while at work or when their kid is asleep. They can work from their molible phone and earn a Masters online! Now, thats is technology at its finest. I knew one way we would start to export our American college students overseas. India can now tell us what we need to learn....(joke from another post)
I wonder what kind of jobs will be created for our future. I want to be a dietitian and a personal trainer, but it looks like the Wii will take my personal training and we can outsource meal plans. Get them free from the emails or phone sends us or count our calories on our IPhone. Now I am screwed it took me two years to figure out what I wanted to go with my life. Least I have great people skills, something that isn't required as number one on a list to get a job, number one will be your typing skills.
Back to the point about not having enough hours in my day, I also dont remember any of those signs saying anything about exercising which a person should exercise three times a week for a half and hour a day. Now I am at 32 hours a day. No cleaning/driving/bathroom time/no wonder its almost three and I am still doing homework! I am out of time and always behind before I even begin my next day, no wonder times is flying by this year, no wonder I cant remember the day or time, it is changing at a faster pace than I can keep up with. How can I use my technology that I will soon invent to my best ability? When will I get that time traveler machine done? I hope soon because my TVo is full and I cant save anymore shows.
